This is the most pathetic plea for Cecil’s attention since the last pathetic plea for Cecil’s attention. That said, I’m hanging out here just in case hell freezes over and he graces the board with a post.
There’s a chance Cecil might come to this thing. There’s a chance Jesus might come again, too, but I’m not betting the kids’ college fund on it. Most people who know Slug spend their time figuring out ways to AVOID meeting him. As for me, I refuse to come unless you tell me, like, where it is.

I know thems what are coming in the 21st are staying at one of the eleven Courtyard Marriotts in the Chicago area. As good a place to drink as any.
The minifest on October 7 is at JoyBlue on Saturday night around 9:00 in the backroom. However, we may want to get something to eat first. You can name the restaurant.
And no, Ed, going to your hometown Dopefest does not obligate you to go to all of them. But you might enjoy hanging with your worshipful public. Or us, even.
Actually, Dropzone, the out-of-towners and those of us locals that aren’t planning to be in any condition to drive are just STAYING at the Courtyard Marriot near O’Hare. We may eat there first, but the location of the gathering is still up in the air. Of course, when that’s all ironed out, Ed can find out where it is by following the ChiDope3 thread. Just thought I’d clarify.
