The disclaimer is dead. The Attorney General declared that the meeting that adopted the disclaimer violated the Open Meetings Act (amongst other things) and was invalid. Governor Keating fussed that he would have to support the AG even though he wanted the disclaimer, but seemed REALLY relieved he didn’t have to discuss this anymore. I’ve not heard anything about the legislature being involved.
