I´ve been busy with exam preparations, so I neglected the thread. Besides, I didn´t have an internet access for a while and now I´m having a knowledge gap from page 34 to page 47. Ah, no matter, apparently all is well here, so I guess I can jump right in at page 48.
Winning that much at gambling really is awesome. So far, I never played for money, but all the people I know, who did in some casino, won like 40 bucks tops.
Other than that, I didn´t get to even go to the “pseudo date” with my cute neighbour. Instead I met the sister of a friend of mine for a cup of coffee. We talked for just 30 minutes (bummer) and while the talk itself wasn´t really bad (i.e. no moments of awkward silence, etc.) it didn´t really click either. Ah well, perhaps I can stay in touch in a just friends way. It sure would be good to have a couple female friends, with whom I could hang out. That would sure beat going out alone on the weekends, now that my best friend is back in London.
I haven´t heard from the Canadians. However, I did send an e-mail to my professor this friday, asking whether we should discuss the details of the internship sometime next week. So far, I didn´t receive a reply either, but that´s probably due to him not working during the weekends.

I generally only make my liquor money playing the ponies but then t hat is pretty much the object anyway! $20-40 is a good night. I think the most I ever won was $300 once on a trifecta but that is definitely unusual. Often I win NOTHING AT ALL! Just lucky I guess.
Never saw Studmuffin last night. I turned my phone off at 1030. I was not going to drive to Round Rock at that hour. So we are having lunch today…
