Dr Who’s K9 has been Aiboed

It was part of K9’s charm that he looked decidedly low-tech, even by Dr Who standards. But now they’re doing to him what Disney (?) tried to do with those cartoon characters.

Next he’ll have a cutesy sidekick called K9-Doo.

Maybe I’m remembering wrong, but that shot of the next K9 reminds me of Brain from the old Inspector Gadget cartoon.
