Shep Smith is always like that. I love him. I think he’s the only normal person working for Fox News.
Wow, I love him too now! Here’s a longer version with more funny stuff.
Reading another e-mail: “‘Are you on drugs again Shep?’”
I’m going to hijack my own thread here. I found a few more Shep Smith gems.
Lambasting some goofball over how “liberal media” was in the tank for Obama.
Grilling Joe the Plumber, who, not surprisingly, ends up looking like an ignorant doofus. He defends Obama too. Watch it all the way to the end. His last line is a killer.
Here he’s blasting a liberal viewer’s e-mail, but what he says is actually pretty smart and full of righteous anger and not just a RW talking point rant.
Smith mocking coverage of the Paris Hilton jail sentence.
Smith being blown aroundin a hurricane and telling it like it is: “It’s just stupid to be out in this”
Mocking a UFO “researcher”: “I think it’s all a load of crap”
Smith sticks a shiv into Drew Peterson.
And a very funny Freudian slip.
That’s it! How did we all miss it?
It’s Blazing Saddles, and the “good folk” are freaked about the new Sheriff in town
On first reading, I thought that was a joke. But holy shit you’re right.
No doubt they’re (partially) talking about President Obama, who (to them) obviously broke the law by running for and winning the presidency when in fact he’s not even an American citizen.
There are lots of videos on YouTube now about this “We Surround Them” crap, but I no longer have any interest in watching them. This shit is going to get someone hurt or killed.
It’s not a democracy, it’s a chucktocracy
Hey Lonesome, if you’re still reading, what’d you think of Jon Stewart’s rant against CNBC last week? You and all these other angry people must have loved the hell out of it, right?
Shepherd Smith’s finest moment. I bacame a big fan of his after I saw this live. This was just an awesome bit of reporting and a complete smackdown of Sean Hannity. Even the presense of a bawling Geraldo Rivera coudn’t diminish it’s power.
"So, I want you to get up now. I want all of you to get up out of your chairs. I want you to get up right now and go to the window, open it, and stick your head out and yell, “I’m as mad as hell, and I’m not going to take this anymore!!”
-Howard Beale, the Mad Prophet
The original article says that 145 Texans drew their dying breath. It didn’t say there were only 145 there from what I read. So Grunman could be correct.
The Millenium is over and we did not witness the second coming. Much as you crave it, Armageddon is not imminent.
Most of America has moved beyond these end time scenarios. I do wish the GOP could do so as well.
I didn’t quite get from his comments if Obama is like or unlike Roberto Mussolini.
Oooh, missed it-I assume it’s on YouTube?
Who’s Roberto Mussolini?
I dunno, but Michael Steele claims to. Read the link. He was speaking, apparently, about powerful historical figures like Adolf Hitler and Roberto Mussolini.
Oh yes, and the importance of education. :dubious:
“Strap it on”? My goodness, Mr. Steele! I barely even know you!
You know, I always saw Shepard Smith as just some pretty boy … but then again, I don’t find myself watching that much Fox “News”. But watching those clips, I’m liking him more and more.
Geraldo, on the other hand, needs to take an acting class or two.
Is “strap it on” a gun reference? Is this another instance of barely veiled threats of violence? Well, along with the whole Armageddon, choose your sides crap.
It sure sounds like “strapping on the six gun” doesn’t it? I thought that went out with the last century (I mean 1880-something). Well whatever, those dummies probably wouldn’t know what to do with a Colt Single Action Army, if they are talking six guns. They would probably pull the trigger without cocking the hammer, and then go demand a refund for a broken gun
I guess they also don’t know that one good way to turn a person against you is to pull that “either you are with us or you are against us” junk. Start a fight an try to force me into it, I will turn on you first. I doubt that sort of reaction is unusual at all.
