Ohh Horror! It's the first day over 70 degrees and I have no tequila!

Well, not technically no Tequila Just some crappy Mixto, and what appears to be a bottle of decent stuff. I sadly pushed to the back of the shelf as last summer ended, that has maybe a TBSP at most.

Margarita must yet happen.

It hit 80 by us today, and only two days ago on my walk thru my woods I found some patches of snow.

I sat out on my beach under the blue skies by the blue water with the dog and enjoyed cold brew coffee on ice with half and half. Life’s good today.

79F here, with sun heating up the inside of my hostess’ home. I’ve got to find summer clothes!

Damn, the wind shifted so it’s blowing off Lake Michigan. Temperature dropped from 81.7 to 57.4 in about 45 seconds.

Houston area here. There have been several days each month so far above 80 (including New Year’s Day but not today), and we’re fast approaching the time of year where there will be several evenings each month where the temperature does not dip below 80 (average low in August is 77).

Approaching 80ish in Chicagoish. I celebrate by opening some windows in my house. I’m a madman like that!

I don’t like the taste of tequila so I don’t drink tequila. In fact the only time I’ve ever had tequila is when I should’ve stopped drinking at least 5 drinks earlier because iffn I’m at all sober I’ll pass. Of the few times I’ve had tequila it was never pretty the next day. I understand this isn’t the tequila’s fault, but that’s just one more reason not to like it. You can have my share if can I have your share of Scotch (or bourbon). I’m not picky that way.

Forecast is for 80’s & sunny the next few days here; tomorrow’s errand shall be topless…well, I’ll be wearing a shirt but the roof shall be in the trunk.

Was mid 70s in Holland, MI today, and I’m watching my daughter’s first outdoor soccer practice of the year right now. It finally really sorta kinda feels like spring a teeny little bit, I suppose maybe.

The rest of the week looks to be even better, so maybe perhaps by Friday I might kinda sorta feel a little more optimistic about possibly summerizing the snow blower. Maybe.

But I’m not holding my breath. We could still get a wintery mix and/or 4-6" before the end of the month. Who the hell knows?

OP: It was 4pm eastern and even eariler farther west when you posted. What’s stopping you from getting a couple of handles of the stuff right away and really ringing in the Summer season with a bang?! Said “bang” being the sound of your face hitting the floor sometime during the two-handle evening.

At the time of my posting, work was stopping me. As of approximately 6:20 , absolutely nothing.

Although my preferred good stuff, Lunazul Blanco, (which I’m sure is total Plebe to the Tequila experts), isn’t sold in handles near me.

We are sitting at 88F right now and there are still piles of snow melting in parking lots. We are now under a fire watch because of the high temps and high winds. The last couple of days have really dried out the spots with no snow. Rain expected Friday night.

Yeah, we hit 86+ here today, with fire advisories due to high winds and low humidity, though my swamp is quite moist, with the skunk cabbage blooming and the frogs singing their serenade. Lake Michigan is 43 degrees by me. No sign of snow in my woods anymore, but I didn’t go into the deepest shadiest bits.

It got up to 78 here in chilly Canada, with a week of glorious weather predicted. Tequila outside of Mexico is hardly worth the bother to me, but maybe something in a similar spirit if the weatherman knows which way the wind blows…

My range for “Must have Tequila on hand” is -217 to 309.

“Sorry grandpa. You can’t play Monopoly. The box says it is suitable for ages eight to eighty”…

If the temperature was above or below your range my need for tequila would probably increase.

Are you up near Traverse City? I live near St. Joseph, Mi, we only hit about 75 today. Just like Michigan to be warmer up north.

Nope, western shore south of Sheboygan a ways.

That might have something to do with how spring warmup usually happens. I’ve seen it warmer in Winnipeg than in MSP, which in turn was much warmer than Chicago.
