Yes, one may hold more than two citizenships. One can hold as many citizenships as the number of countries claiming one as a citizen. After all, dual nationality is not always the choice of the individual.
And, yes, an American citizen can be legally removed from the country. That’s not as a punishment for a crime committed in the US but rather when one is extradited to face judicial proceedings in another country.
