Orly Taitz, still reeling from her $20,000 sanction in Georgia earlier this month and furious over being called a nut by Bill O’Reilly last week, has held out hope that she would finally get her trial against Obama in the court of U.S. District Judge David Carter next January. Judge Carter has granted the defense’s motion and dismissed her case.
“Plaintiffs have attacked the judiciary, including every prior court that has dismissed their claim, as unpatriotic and even treasonous for refusing to grant their requests and for adhering to the terms of the Constitution which set forth its jurisdiction…Respecting the constitutional role and jurisdiction of this Court is not unpatriotic. Quite the contrary, this Court considers commitment to that constitutional role to be the ultimate reflection of patriotism.”
The problem with insane conspiracy nuts is that they don’t know they’re insane. The harder the courts push to have Oily Taint’s “cases” thrown out, the more she’ll believe there’s a conspiracy to hide the “truth.”
Frickin’ nutbar birthers. And she’s the mother of 'em all.
I wonder how long it will be before she is disbarred? I don’t have any idea of how long that takes but it seems that she is getting a lot of attention from judges and not GOOD attention. I assume the bar responds to allegations by the judicial branch of unethical behavior don’t they?
Exactly. She’ll refuse to pay her sanctions and the U.S. Attorney will seize her assets, further proving to her that the “brownshirts will stop at nothing to silence her” or some such nonsense.
Yea I have to admit I am sort of addicted as well. Not just on her, but the whole birther movement. I have been watching it since last year–it just fascinates me the gyrations these folks will go through. One site was sure that Judge Carter was going to be the breakthrough, never recognizing he was just bending over backwards to give them a fair shake. I loved his commentary about how inept Orly Taitz was, but the birthers fail to recognize this. I used to go to Philip Bergs site but he seems to have lost out to Orly as head whacko.
It didn’t take long for Jack Thompson’s obsessive ravings to get him disbarred, and his hate boner was at least for an issue that had a smidgen of legitimacy. (But only a smidgen) Roy “Pants” Pearson was unceremoniously thrown off the bench for his obsessive but frivolous suit against a dry cleaner. Both of these are more sane than Orly’s birther campaign, so with any luck the Bar Association will get tired of her shenanigans and chuck her in short order.
That’s pretty much how I see it going down. She’ll become a living martyr to her followers as willing to throw her career away to expose the “truth.” Fortunately this will probably just make them foam harder at the mouth and look more plainly like the proper nuts they are.
