OJ simpson chapter: "If I did it, it was her fault for being such a bitch"

I can’t even begin to understand this. The amount of crazy here is just too much to believe. The Simpson book not only has him explaining how he did the murders in exacting detail that matches and fleshes out the police evidence in nearly every way, but also includes his motives (basically it’s all her fault for driving him to it and the fucking DOG set it off by WAGGING HIS TAIL at Goldman), but also has a second man there with him: a man who may well be described as something of accomplice in the murders… and THEN has him declaring himself to be 100% innocent and the account to be completely fictional.

What? Hunh? Buh?

Can anyone explain any of this to me?

Though, if there IS a second man out there who was with OJ during the night of the killings and then helped him dispose of the evidence, that’d certainly be interesting. Could this man be found and sent to prison where OJ got off?

And what the heck must the jurors think about all this today?

If there was second person involved in the actual crime, then yes. Not sure if he/she would get the same charge, but it would be a pretty big deal.

What I can’t believe is that there are still people out there who think he is not guilty.

In what sense do you believe the OJ jurors are capable of “thinking” about anything?

OJ is still black, thus it would seem the relevant factor in the verdict is still operative.

My fantasy about OJ’s last words:

National TV Interviewer: “So you still maintain you didn’t do it?”

OJ: "Put it this way - if I killed Nicole and Ron, I hope God strikes me dead in my - "

I am all but certain that he did it, but there is a small but nonzero possibility that someone else did it. It has been suggested with some plausibility that his son Jason did it and OJ took the hit. It is extremely unlikely that it went down that way, and there is absolutely no doubt that he had something to do with it, but one can make the case that he didn’t actually do the killings.

I personally think that if Fuhrman hadn’t perjured himself OJ would be looking at the needle, and for him to participate in something like this book is one of the most disgusting things I think I’ve ever seen, especially since he’s lucky he’s still alive right now.

That’s what I think, too. LA Law Enforcement: We Really Couldn’t Suck Much More.

I’m not sure what I’d have thought if I were on the jury. The amount of information they were allowed to get, compared with what thsoe of us scoring at home got, was miniscule. There’s a lot of stuff you’d have to stop knowing to put yourself in their shoes. I still think they got it wrong, though.

Just a reminder: the prosecution ruled out asking for the DP before anybody ever heard of Mark Fuhrman.

I’ve actually heard other people state that it would be okay to kill the slut/bitch/druggie Nicole, and if OJ did do it (which he didn’t) she deserved it.

Boggles the mind

IANAL, but if there was a second person involved, hasn’t OJ opened himself up to new charges of conspiracy to commit murder? Or does double jeopardy on the charge of committing the murder do away with any conspiracy to commit murder as well?

Man, that double-murderer is such a jerk!

I don’t think he’s not guilty, but I love how much it pisses people off that he got away with it.

Fuck it. He’s not going to kill anyone again. How about getting mad at a real travesty. . .like innocent people who get convicted.

 Funniest post of the day!

If folks would stop pissing blood everytime Orenthal trolled for attention, then maybe, just maybe, he’d go away and die penniless in a hovel somewhere. Every thread that is started about him only serves the media machine keeping food in his fridge.

This thread and others like it act as free advertising for him.

I agree completely. That’s why you and I both refuse to post in any such threads.

Telling others to stop feeding the troll is not the same thing as actually feeding the troll.

That seems pretty obvious to me, but I guess YMMV.

Well, you’re right, of course. I didn’t mean as heavy a criticism as it might have sounded. It’s too bad that the metaphysical nature of the thing is such that attempting to suppress attention does itself lend attention. Sorry for coming across as mean.

It’s worked for Jack McCoy (Law and Order) more than once! :stuck_out_tongue:

This has got to be the stupidest thing I’ve ever fucking heard. He brutally murdered two people, Nicole Simpson’s head was almost severed from her head, but because you believe he won’t kill again that means no harm, no foul?

Should read almost severed from her body* :smack:

Quit living in the past, pool.
