After yakin’ with you about Isle Royale, SO and I have officially changed our vacation plans this summer to NOT do a 7 day motorcycle trip to Glacier National Park and surrounds, and instead, go to the UP for the 4th of July.
Shit. I do this every year… make fun, interesting, vacation plans, then shuck 'em all to go to da UP.
Hey, what a coinkydink! I was in Glacier National Park last 4th of July. Just passing through, though – we didn’t camp. I recommend it highly; it’s a truly beautiful place.
Gosh, thanks for the free publicity; my first mention in a thread title! Given the title (“OK spoke-, it’s all your fault…”), I hope other posters will feel free to drop in and blame me for whatever other woes I may have caused! 
Seriously, if you don’t go to GNP this summer, you should definitely go sometime. Very much worth the trip.
