Since upgrading to Version 3.0, I notice the number displayed ‘Views’ column for each thread doesn’t go up very often. Certainly not enough to correspond with actual column views.
Is this some bug? A quirk? A hampster-preserver built into the software? Something only I noticed? Something that’s been previously explained that only I never noticed?
Call me nutty, but it kinda bugs me. Sometimes I’ll see a thread with 12 replies and only one view. Seeing that-- well, you might as well twist sandpaper into my nipples with your thumbs.
I believe, madam, we have a failure to communicate. Whereas coarse sandpaper jammed into your nipples seems to be a pleasurable sensation for you, to me it would be painful-- analogous to, say, deep-frying my nipples in motor oil. [sub]Here we go :D[/sub]
The new version of the software allows you to choose whether you want to immediately update the views info, or to do it once per hour. From the admin CP:
