Okay, these are my 5 favorite songs, RIGHT NOW, what are yours?

My Dying Bride- Black God
Christina Aguilera-Fighter
Skinlab- Know Your Enemies
Dead Kennedy’s- Kill The Poor

I think I sometimes scare people with the range of music I listen to…

Box of Rain, Grateful Dead
Dreams, The Allman Brothers Band
Whipping Post, The Allman Brothers Band
In My Life, Gov’t Mule
Karma Police or Black Star or Sulk, Radiohead [girlfriend sent me The Bends for my impending birthday]

Spider Babies-You’re Bi

Jon

I just listened to Carol (Ya-Ya’s version) by the Stones, so right now it is my favorite all tiime song ever.
I save Going Down by Jeff Beck whenever I want a treat.
I do like Jet Airliner and Goin’ to Mexico (Steve Miller)
Let’s see, that’s five; my last all time favorite is, let’s see, oh, I guess Red House.
But that’s just right now.

“Bandages,” Hot Hot Heat

“Times like these” (acoustic), Foo Fighters

“7 nation Army,” White Stripes

“We’ve Been had,” the Walkmen

“The Scientist,” Coldplay

For now.

My top four are the same as they have been for years. In no particular order:

  1. “Moonglow and Theme from Picnic” (a combo of two songs) arranged by Morris Stoloff
  2. “The Girl from Ipanema” – Stan Getz and Astrid Gilberto
  3. “Great Gig in the Sky” – Pink Floyd
  4. “Mr. Lucky”
  5. “She Moved Thro’ the Fair” (finally found out the name of it!)

Tool - Stinkfist
Tool - Eulogy
Tool - Aenima
Tool - Parabola
Tool - Schism

What? I’m a fanboy… sue me. :stuck_out_tongue:

Okay, other than Tool and the awesomeness that is Maynard:

Evanescence - Wake Me Up
Foo Fighters - Times Like This
Stone Sour - Bother
Queens of the Stone Age - No One Knows
System of a Down - Aerials

the faint - the conductor
fischerspooner - turn on
bright eyes - pull my hair
aqua - lovefool
bjork - possibly maybe

OK - at this very moment I have on the Winamp playlist:

Lil Kim - The Jump Off
Pulp - Babies
White Stripes - Seven Nation Army
Coolio - Fantastic Voyage
and some bloke called Gustavo Montesano & The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra - Moonlight Rumba

A strange mix I know, but these are the ones that I can’t stop listening to at the moment.

Marylin Manson- Long Hard Road out of Hell
Marylin Manson- Cake and Sodomy

Metallica- Of Wolf and Man (or maybe the S&M version of For Whom the Bell Tolls)
Rammstein- Buck Dich (I recently saw Live aus Berlin, and now I’ve got the visuals stuck in my head too)
Mammas and Pappas- California Dreaming

  1. Istanbul (Not Constantinople), They Might Be Giants [cover] “Flood”
  2. Don’t Let Me Down and
  3. The Ballad of John and Yoko, the Beatles

I love bouncy goth music. It’s so… well… bouncy, I guess.

Frank Zappa- G-Spot Tornado
Dave Brubeck- Take 5
Phish- Harry Hood
Phish- You Enjoy Myself
Trey Anastasio- Inner Tube

This will probably change by tommorow.

Nas- Made you Look
Angels of Light- Kasinski
Death in June- Little Black Angel
Covenant- Bullet
Monolith- Even when we Sleep

…oh and by the way…please say futurepop or ebm, but refrain from calling those bands bouncy goth music…it just seems so insulting…
