I had very long hair for years (it reached my butt). When I cut it, my success with women dropped completely. It puzzled me, but soon I understood why : it was because I (unknowingly) used to cater to some kind of niche market, long-hair fetishists. Just like some (many) guys may just see big boobs and not the rest, those girls/women saw my Rapunzel hair and not the rest.
