A couple of times on Turner Classic Movies we’ve seen this
short, in which James Stewart and Shemp Howard both appear.
But it’s so old that at the time it was made, Howard was a bigger star than Stewart, who I’m not sure was even billed.
The story concerns two sons of a rich family, who are to be sent to Europe to study art, only they don’t want to go because this would separate them from their girlfriends. So they hire two other guys to go in their place and pretend to be them, send their parents postcards, etc. One of the guys they hire is Shemp Howard, and I think James Stewart was one of the sons, but I’m not sure.
I’ve looked in http://www.allmovie.com, but to no avail. Does anyone have any ideas?
