It’s still very iffy, though I think we did figure out how the leak developed. I hope everything goes as well as possible re your wiring concerns. As you say, if it’s not one damn thing, it’s another, with home maintenance. You have my sympathy! More on Ollie’s visit with the kids shortly.

Oopsie, I think it actually was you who inspired the toilet seat change. No matter who it was, it was sure a nice job to accomplish. I don’t use that loo for much except middle-of-the-night bio breaks, but at least the seat doesn’t slide around on me from wear anymore. So thank you for providing the impetus!

I subscribed to OPB/PBS via my computer, and after I did, it explained exactly how to set up the app on my tee vees. I consider it the best $20 I spend every month, in terms of excellent entertainment value. I think you can pledge as little as $5.00/month. They’re just grateful to have a reliable source of income these days. Re both shows, the stories are thin and a little schlocky. In One Step from Heaven, there’s a horse that’s made to gallop everywhere it goes, the primary actors are constantly hugging each other and covering each other up with bedding. But dayum, that scenery!! I’ll never get tired of that!

So Pond Guy and Fam came and did their thing with the pond. We’ll see how it goes this time. It appears this may be an ongoing process for awhile. I loved his wife and kids. The kids are 3 boys, names of Reef, Sandin and Cove. They were so well mannered and thrilled to have a run around on a rural property. They loved Ollie, who repaid their attentions by whizzing all over their shoes. We were fortunately outside and they were understanding. They did tire Ollie out – yayy! His wife brought me a very nice bar of her handmade soap. They loved the cinnamon rolls, and that made me happy. Then they were off to attend Pond Guy’s grandpa’s 102nd birthday celebration. (!!!) I expect I’ll see more of them even after the pond is fixed. Always a pleasure to meet nice people.
I’m looking forward to a quieter day tomorrow, though.
