Old guys take out cell phone potty-mouth

Just for a change, I’ll post a cool news story. It’s in the pit because it’s about an obnoxious cell phone user, and I’m sure some of us will think of a few choice phrases to describe such louts.

Here’s the poop. To sum it up, a couple of retirees got sick of hearing a cell phone user pace by them cursing fluently during his call, so they told him to take it outside. A scuffle ensued because it sounds like the foulmouth told them to shove it. One of the older men was arrested but got off lightly.

Good on him. I don’t condone starting fights over little things like this, but I’ve heard a few loud, obnoxious cursing cell phone conversations and wished I had the cojones to grab their phones and slingshot them into the next county.

(beaming with civic pride)

Ah, St Paul, my hometown!

Violence is not an acceptable response to rudeness. Seems to me everyone was an asshole here.

Gerfast being the elder, Tabor being the obnoxious cell user.
Delicious.

Except that the old guy ASKED Jerkwad to take it outside first. And THEN proceeded to do something about it. Perfectly fine as far as I am concerned. And if I ever witness that type of situation in person, I’m jumping in with the old guy. Because it IS the right thing to do.

Life is too short to put up with that kind of bullshit.

Wait a minute. Can you be acquitted after pleading guilty? Or is this some other set of disorderly conduct charges. Perhaps this senior is quite the hell-raiser.

::Sigh::

That’s why I need to learn to read. There were in fact two separate people listed there. Carry on. And good on them.

Actually, violence may just be the perfect response to rudeness of this sort. Grab the phone and pitch it under a moving truck. If the jerk goes after it, so much the better. Think of it as evolution in action.

Well, good thing there wasn’t any, then.

I Lllllllllllllike the way you think.

 Always,** E. Jim**, but in that case silenus.

Did anyone else notice this?

Way to raise a child, asshole! I can just imagine what the daughter’s vocabulary is like.

I’m just wondering what the old folks considered obscenities.

“Damn”
“Jehosaphat”
“No, I want strong coffee, not that piss the locals drink”
