We did get a bit of a storm. There was ice falling this morning, I’ve never seen such a thing before! Then it snowed for a while and then it rained but the temps stayed in the mid 30s. It was a good day to be RDOS.
Tomorrow the roads promise to be very icy and it will be under 10F so we won’t be going to the capital. It’s one thing to get shot in back of the head while protesting fascism, sliding off the road in the ice and freezing to death would be quite another thing.
The birds were very hungry today so I kept spreading seed outside the french doors. The fuzzbutts got very little napping done because every time they got situated, birds would start squabbling and they would have to go and look.
I saw the snowplow going by a couple of times and that guy wasn’t messing around. He was doing the speed limit and the snow got tossed all the way over the fence into our yard. Never saw that before either, LOL!
At one point today I briefly considered sweeping the sidewalk and front steps but sat down until I got over it. We have a door leading to the covered carport so if we absolutely have to go out, we can get to the car without getting our feet wet/muddy.
Will it be a lot of trouble to replace, or is it just not doable now?
Ya probably want to plan on staying in tomorrow. The roads will be messy but the church crowd will be out and in a hurry.
