I really wasn’t panicking yet. He wouldn’t throw a box of hardware away, that’s just not in his nature. I’m the one twisting his arm to force him to get rid of 30 year old motorcycle parts cause you never know when something might come in handy.
This morning he contacted the bed manufacturer and they offered to sell him more hardware, but then agreed to email him the part list. He was going to go to the hardware store and start looking but there is a big pile of stuff we unloaded from his car and then dumped in the living room. In that pile was a box that included all of the hardware, bagged and labeled just like he always does.
I suspect he had a stress dream that felt real after he woke up.
He also found a faster way to get us a washer and dryer, they will be delivered on July 1st. Now if only we could move up the date for the stove and oven installation.
I learned that laundromats don’t open until 10 round these parts so got a later start than I had hoped. The laundromat was clean, the machines look new and work very well and the place had working AC. It wasn’t horrible but I’ll be happy when i don’t have to use it anymore.
