Ok, this is my wing and a prayer thread. Years ago I was leafing through a stack of old Playboys stashed out in the garage (ah the golden years ) and one of them had a full page cartoon of several well dressed people sitting around a table having drinks…with the devil in hell. There were flames in the background etc. and the caption was “Well you didn’t think it was going to be all *that * bad, did you?”
I throw myself onto the mercy of the teeming millions and hope that someone can tell me where on Earth I can get my hands on a copy of that cartoon. For whatever reason it made a huge impression on me then and I’d love to have it framed in my office now.
There are numerous cites that Playboy is coming out with DVD’s containing all print editions of Playboy magazine. Here’s a SFW cite.
I’m a bit suspicious though as I don’t see it on Amazon or Playboy.com itself.

Nice, that book is a good place to start. Hopefully I can find it at a Borders or Barnes and Noble because I’m not plunking down $50 on hope alone.
Keep up the good work Shodan.

If you still want the book, they have 12 new and used starting at $12.78

The first volume came out a few months ago. I’ve seen it at Barnes & Noble, and it is indeed listed at Amazon (search for “Playboy Cover to Cover”). However, it only covers the '50s.

I got a jillion old Playboy cartoons on my hard drive. I don;t have that one and have never ever seen it.
(Best one, two naked Roman guys playing card with two naked Roman girls, “An orgy is where you do what you want to do. We want to play pinocle.”)

My favorite: Two centaurs are peering through the reeds at a maiden bathing in and a mare drinking from a pond. The one is urging his buddy, “C’mon! Make up your mind!”

There are books of downloadable Playboy Cartoons from 1966.
