Totally OK, this is why we remind you. 
It’s been a while since I’ve played so I don’t follow the thread games forum much, so until today I missed that this game was happening. I jumped to the last page and saw the 12/30 deadline so I submitted my name before getting a chance to read the thread. It seems signups ended long ago. Apologies for cluttering up the list. Please remove me if alternates aren’t supposed to be on there.
I would still like to play if you need another alternate.
So, besides the whole “starting after the new year” thing, is there an actual time/date in mind? Like 12:00 am Jan 1st? Or do we get time to sleep off the boozeover?
We are expecting Tuesday the 3rd. But it sort of depends on if we hit our deadlines. Right now I am behind on my writing assignments so feel free to blame me. (though there is one game mechanic that still needs ironing too that I’m not holding up.)
