I’ve been on the dope like 4 times in the last year. I don’t why I checked today.
But, hell yeah - I’m in. It’ll be great to play with some of the original mafia players.
Are we going to discuss the specifics here? Or will there be a planning thread?

Y’know, I was just thinking today that it’s been a while since we’ve had a Mafia game. I was going to volunteer to host, as I have a couple of ideas in mind, but if storyteller wants to do it instead, I’m more than happy to defer to him. His games are always great fun.
Meanwhile, I’ve been working on a computer program to test balance of a setup (and no, it’s not in any way related to that program, which I have discontinued using). It’s not very polished right now, but January should give me some time to finish it up. Once I do, anyone is welcome to borrow it.

I think you should be required to use the old program in our new game just for old times sake. I miss those days!

I’m in. I think with a game with so many players, a Simpsons theme would be awesome. Unless it’s been done before. I haven’t played in several years. I’ll give it the ole college try. Someone will need to link to wherever it’s being hosted in this thread please.
I was a minor player back in the ol’ days - I doubt I made a big impression on most. But I did play in peeker’s first game and the two of us, through lots of fits and starts, brought it home for the Town - I remember it vividly to this day.
Sadly, I am just too swamped to play - In addition to my usual load, I will be teaching my first class in 15 years starting in January, so there’s no way I can take this on. I will watch avidly, though, and try to comment on the Forbidden Thread.

I remember you well! As I recall, we had a fairly lengthy dustup in the Ceciltown game - the one that was actually all vanilla but we didn’t know it. Good times!

Pleonast’s Conspiracy Mafia has a special place in my heart since it was my first Mafia game. It looks like there will be enough players for that.
If Pleonast does lead us into Conspiracy I do hope for less redirection bamboozlements than we saw in C6:
I’ll cast my vote for a storyteller hosted game if Pleonast doesn’t want to do it…but I definitely vote for Pleo if he’s up for it and posts in here interested.
Or…wait for it…a STORYTELLER/PLEONAST co-hosted game. :o Would be epic.
And-as it looks like this may be one of the BIGGEST GAMES EVER-maybe creating an epic game where, like, there are five or six killing roles so that four or five players are killed a Night, that way it doesn’t last for two years. : p 
Because here’s hoping all 80 or so people I contacted sign up. So far, so good!
