All I remember from high school biology was dissecting a worm and a frog with a very squeemish lab partner. (Oddly enough, she and I became friends.) I don’t recall anything being taught about human biology - at least not sex stuff. That was handled in the Health portion of Home Ec. Even with that, I was woefully underinformed about, well, everything. I did eventually figure it out. Such were things in the 1969-70 school year.
My grands are lucky - their mom taught middle school sex ed, so they’ll know it all. Criminy, Roxy ( at 8!!!) is already showing signs of puberty and complaining about her breasts bouncing when she runs. Daughter will be (or has?) acquiring training bras for her. Yoiks!!!
We got a little rain - enough that mowing was contraindicated. Maybe tomorrow? My supper was the last of the cuke salad and the first of the egg salad. Kinda boring, but easy. Now, back to my recliner.
