I’s tahred, so having swallowed two Tylenol and 5mg of Mel, I’m in bed waiting to become unconscious.
Ziva has forgiven me. She let me pick her up and brush her, then when I was reclining, she climbed upon me for skritches. But I need my beauty sleep, so she was demoted to floor.
So, sleepy time for me. So zzzzzzzzzzz
I cleaned. I vacuumed. I cleaned Spot’s litter box. I took the trash and recycling out. It hit 100 degrees with a Heat Index of 115. I closed out the blinds in the sunroom, because it was noticeably hotter in there even with the trees screening the sun. Dinner tonight is Guinness beef stew, with the usual Wisconsin Old Fashioned. I’m just starting laundry now, to spare the grid.

Waves at everyone. I have been reading, but the lure of the needle has been very strong lately.
Another day at the capital and there was no breeze which kinda sucked. We did get some rain which cooled things down for a few minutes than just made the roads steam.
Gina and her hubby Jeff think that they would love to go to the wrestling/preaching thing, but Gina is really fragile and I can’t find out if they have mobility ramps.
We got the inspection report on that house by Ronald and it was better than I had hoped. We’ve got an appointment with a lawyer next week, Gina might be kin but we still need to do this all legal and shit. (We are buying, they will be renting to own from us. We’ve done this before, all will work out as long as we make sure everyone understands what is expected-hence the lawyer.)
My veggie garden is doing something. The cherry tomatoes are going nutz and we haven’t had any beef steaks set so far. The potato plants are starting to turn yellow, so it is getting close to time to see what is in that bag. The onion starts haven’t turned into onions yet and I have a dove nest in the straw under the bell pepper plant.
Stoopid dove.
Thanks to shoe’s wise advice, my baby lemon is doing great. I’m really hoping that I will also get a flower some year in the future but for now I just like looking at it.
We’ve been having to be sure we have cash handy when we go shopping now, many of the retailers use Starlink for their credit/debt card machines and it has been flaky or non-functional more than it has worked properly.
We’re evil, but not monsters.
I’ve seen the needle and the damage done. Probably a different needle.

I’ve done some serious damage to my fingers with needles in the past. Punching blunt needles through the skin is very ouchie!

Late Night/Week Final here. Sammiches were eaten along with a couple cups of Chocolate pudding and bedtime beckons soon. At 9:30pm is was still 82F (88F heat index) outside so I am happy the AC is working well. Have made my (short) Moanday shopping list and that is about as constructive as I have been tonight.

77 Ferret Height/25 Centipedes, heat index 78/26, humidity 100%. Predicted high 90/32, and the heat advisory starting at 1100 has been extended until 2000 Wednesday. Bleah. Have I ever mentioned how much I hate summer?

Make three of us. My heat index yesterday was 111. Today it’s dropped down to only 110. Big relief in sight for Tuesday though, only 105.
