Olympic Question

How do the Olympic participants get time to practice? I mean, once I arrive at Torino, is every skater going to have equal practice time on the ice? What about skiing or bobsled? If so, how is it arranged? Lottery? Do some practice during the graveyard shift? - Jinx

It’s not really a problem. There’s plenty fo time between events for practices to be scheduled. For instance, an ice skating program might only take 3-4 hours at most, so the rest of the day is available. Same for all the other events: the actual competition is only a few hours in any given day, allowing for time to practice.

I wouldn’t be surprised if some of the ice skating practices are at the crack of dawn, but ice skaters are used to that.
