"Omarosa goes rats!" sez The Donald--The Apprentice 2/19 Pre-Show

Heard the above quote from His Donness this morning on MSNBC*- Omarosa goes crazy, etc. Isn’t this the one where they have to restore a house or something? Ooooooh I do hope she flames out tonight.

*Course, I’m sure he’s not above hyping his show.

Damn, MoodyBastard, you beat me to the punch – I was just coming in to start the thread, since I will be otherwise occupied this evening.

“Goes rats”? This is a new one on me. Does she turn everyone in to the Housing Authority or something?

 Is this supposed to be some sort of spoiler?

Ah. Sorry, twickster.

Trump used the curious phrase in question, which I’ve never heard before either. I would infer it means she went out of her tree… which I would pay money to see at this point.

He was being interviewed by Don Imus, who asked him about Jessie’s weaselness in selling Kristie out. Trump referred to Jessie as a “snake,” but then Imus told him that Jessie has since defended her action, saying that she discussed with Kristie her plan of saying it was the project manager’s fault that week, and that this was edited out. Trump found that unlikely, but as he also pointed out, it made for better television if they did edit it out.

Not a prob, MB – I like to think it’s okay if I’m not the one to start the “Apprentice” thread on any given week…

sniff

It’s a perfectly cromulent word amongst the New York jillionaire set…

If it is supposed to be a synonym for crazy a’la “nuts” I don’t quite see the connection (do rats act crazy…other than perhaps rabid ones?). Perhaps it is best that we let teenage boys and girls as well as rappers lead the way in crafting our slang rather than pompous real estate developers…

Well, there is the expression, “Crazier than a shit-house rat.”

Anyone else think Trump made a huge mistake in not firing Katrina?
I mean, she knows so damn much(supposedly) about realty, and she turns the most important part of the entire assignment to a guy that runs a cigar-of-the-month club?
Also, I thought she was throwing a temper tantrum over the fact that Troy didn’t just roll over and let her have the nicer Apt. If he HAD given it to her she’d be patting herself on the back over how “shrewd” she was. As is she just came across as a poor sport.
FWIW I probably would have said the same thing Tammy said(altho I must confess, I have disliked her for some time now), but maybe not in front of Trump. Her act of “disloyalty” was not enough to merit her being fired, IMHO. Katrina’s poor decisions and behaviour were much more deserving of getting the axe.

Any takers?

Pssst. Over here.

I already feel embiggened by it.

I’m pretty much with riserius on this one. Katrina, while far from a flaming incompetent, really showed her colors last night. I thought it was wonderfully shrewd of her to hire the contractor to take care of a lot of the grunt work, but she has absolutely no class when it comes to the realities of competition. Practically the entire episode, I’m hissing at my viewing mate, I don’t get it! How was she ‘duped’?! And then she’s squealing like a little girl in the boardroom- “Did I cry, Troy? Did I?” No, but you might as well have.

While I can’t argue with the decision to oust Tammy–she’s just a loose cannon–the upshot seemed to be that Trump dropped her for her comment, which I think is absurd. Disloyal? No. Her comment was unprofessional, at best. Again, to agree with riserius, I don’t think letting Katrina go this week would’ve been a terrible decision.

Yo, Kwame. Keep flyin’ under that radar, baby.

OP Note: The tease offered by The Donald yesterday (see thread title) and droolingly hyped by yours truly has served as an object lesson to this author in… well, in not believing the hype. As entertaining as her “performance” continued to be last night, obviously the disaster spotlight did not fall on Omarosa in any way. Older and wiser go I.
