Well, I was willing to get over my initial knee-jerk “Change! Ohnoes! Change is scary and dangerous!” but after a while with the new smileys …
Nope. Still don’t like 'em.

the smileys on my forum are better ;);)
I’m beginning to like the “I licked your pie” guy.
I realized that he is looking at the quoted text and smirking.
Beats the hell out of calling someone a dumb ass and being chided by the Moderators, or having the guy I quote lay in wait for me in a dark alley with a Louisville slugger.
<- But this little bastard is still creepy looking.
Be that as it may, there’s currently no replacement for the derisive, dismissive attitude that the old “rolleyes” smiley projected. When I want to hand-wave away someone’s dumb remark, I’d rather not be stuck with an emoticon that looks like he’s peeking up someone’s skirt.
Seriously, why haven’t any admins addressed this pressing issue? They haven’t even given us the courtesy of saying, “We ain’t changin’ shit, deal with it.”
(Grrr…)
One of my friends stole :dubious: and :smack: to use on their own forum!
Down with the new, neutered smileys.
Neutered? Call it like it is; castrated!
Down with the new, castrated smilies!
Unfortunately, they have.

Since posting this, I’ve found out that some people are having trouble getting the script itself. I found another site that mirrors userscript.org. So, if you can’t get the above link to work, try clicking here.
