And this is why their ratings are plummeting. The ownership thinks they can get ratings by pretending to be Fox News, but they just don’t get that if people wanted to watch Fox News, they would watch Fox News, and all they’re accomplishing is alienating viewers who’ve come to them for decades for legitimate journalism.
Same goes for every Democrat who thinks they can get elected by acting like a Republican.
Which is why a top reason Republicans give to Democrats for why they aren’t winning is that they just don’t follow their lead and act Republican enough. If you wouldn’t take advice from the asshole sitting across from you at the poker table, why the hell would you listen to right-wingers here?
But when that asshole leaves the poker game, week after week after week with everyone’s money…

This happened Friday. Already (as of yesterday) they have raised $57K in a GoFundMe appeal. Someone was quick off the mark. And I have no doubt personally that the grisly nature of this crime is responsible for this “outpouring of support” from mostly random strangers. Everything about this story is depressing and degrading.
I kind of feel sorry for the first responders who were there.
Oh yes, so would I. I saw something that would be sad for a surgical staff, an Honor Walk for a five month old baby. At least she died in peace, and helped give life for others.
