True, except for the fact that SEALs haven’t been clean shaven for over 20 years. For whatever reason, beards have become the calling sign of many elite units in the U.S. military.
It has a lot to do with where they have been serving. In Afghanistan, clean-shaven sticks out like a sore thumb.
Which I’m pretty sure was the point that @Irishman was making. If grooming standards were enforced indiscriminately, it would be a problem.
Given this administration, and Hegseth in particular, it wouldn’t be a shock.

Yeah it’s horrible. Yesterday there was an Amber Alert and it was canceled today without explanation. Then we learn they found the girls’ bodies.
He’s homeless so he’ll probably be hard to find, but I doubt he will be alive when he’s found.
He had trouble adjusting after he left the military, and had mental health struggles. What’s heartbreaking is the mom saying yesterday that her ex-husband had problems but she was sure he’d never hurt his kids.
She must be filled with guilt right now. I feel so bad for her.
