Rocker also reportedly made a fool of himself at a hotel bar.

To be fair, these are just recent examples of Rocker being an evil MF – he has a long history of being a racist asshole, dating back to (at least) 1999. It’s telling that, in his Wikipedia entry, the section on “Controversies” is significantly longer than the section on “Baseball Career.” 
It must be fun to be famous for being infamous.
Rocker seems to have reveled in unapologetically being a real-life heel character.
I think the overlap between MAGAs and real-life heel characters is rather large. What makes Rocker noteworthy is his celebrity.
Plenty of other jerky blowhards blowharding anonymously in truck stops and Waffle Houses all over this beleaguered land of ours.
ETA: There was a long-time Atlanta Braves outfielder / big bat whose name escapes me who was also infamous as a real bully and racist turd once it became not career suicide fashionable to admit that. He’s not worth my time to look up, but I bet most of us here know who I’m talking about.

They’re really complaining about the public jumping to conclusions WRT the ice agent’s actions? How long was it between her being shot and Trump/Noem announcing she was a domestic terrorist that purposely attempted to kill the ice agent with her car? Was it even an hour?
Seems it might be time for the Mayors to fire their (I’m assuming appointed) police chiefs and the people to recall their (I’m assuming elected) sheriffs, at least the ones on board with this.
I’m curious how this is going to jibe with Walz’s GTFO to ice? ISTM each city’s PD is going to have to decide if they’re going to follow Walz and not help, or even actively resist ice or follow the FOP and stand with them. It’s going to be bad either way.
I think the local PDs need a reminder that “I’m just following orders” isn’t a valid defense.
I’m proud of my sheriff for taking to Facebook and pointing out that this was wrong, and then getting into a flame war with a neighboring sheriff for making fun of the situation.
This is the police union, chiefs have nothing to do with it. Police unions are always on the side of other law enforcement, almost regardless of the merits of the case.
You watch, it shouldn’t be a surprise when the fucking defense asserts that those comments have poisoned the potential jury pool and the case should be dismissed on those grounds.
Because these fucking wastes of air are just that twisted.
