Well, there’s one less.
Subsequent dedicated thread here:
I’d be half tempted to read this book just for this scene. TL : DW - RFK Jr. claims to have stopped a car on a busy highway, with his kids in the car, to remove the penis from a roadkilled raccoon.
For those with Twitter access:
“It’s Cock-A-Doodle-Delicious!”
You’re missing the best part, which is from the book about him:
Yes. How weird some of his family members turned out to be. ![]()
I’ll cite this from the stupid MFer’s thread to give proper credit to @PastTense for finding the latest news:
I’m sure that was written with intentional irony in his journal. It seems really tongue-in-cheek.
The thing is, with RFK Jr that tongue was probably cut out of a rotting moose carcass.
180 days in jail.
Should have gone Big Foot.
So it’s “Go BigFoot or Go Home to the Big House.” ![]()
Would’ve loved to have seen that video.
Sure, bears have breached the insides of automobiles before, but I can’t help just picturing the damn thing behind the wheel going “vroom vroom” or something, like Trump. Maybe checking the glovee, adjusting rear-view mirror.
“Would’ve loved to have seen that video.”
Excerpts from the video are in the link posted above (part of a newscast on the incident).
The most interesting part for me: the shots of claw marks on the upholstery. The bear suit incorporated straight line “claws” - about like an over-sized comb - and the claw scratches are the most geometric damage imaginable. Four parallel marks that start and stop together.
Video wouldn’t bother loading.
This is the same ABC newscast, embedded in a Yahoo article. Might work better?
I bet the insurance claims on monster trucks are also pretty high.
Lots of evil in this story.
Marie-Thérèse Ross-Mahé is a native of France. Back in the 1950s, she met Billy Ross, a soldier from Alabama who was stationed at the base where she was employed. They kept in touch over the decades, and, after they were both widowed, decided to get married in April of last year. Marie moved in with Billy in his house in Anniston and began the process of becoming an American citizen. But Billy died in January, and his two adult sons conspired to keep her from getting half of his assets, as required by state law. They stopped the mail to her house; as a result, she missed an immigration hearing and overstayed her visa. Then, allegedly acting on a tip from one of the sons who is a former state trooper, ICE arrested her and placed in a detention center in Louisiana. Through the efforts of the French consulate, she has now been allowed to return to France.
She’s 86.
There’s a discussion about that in the ICE thread.
Thanks. I don’t follow that thread, so I missed it.
But still pretty damn evil, IMO.
Thank-you, it did. And was nutso.
Too bad there wasn’t a Really Odd as Shit News thread.
