Omnibus Evil MFers in the news thread

I just had a fucked up vision of Trump rapping about Big Macs and calling himself MC Donald.

I might have drank a little too much last night.

Or too little. One or the other for sure.

Over 4700 posts and almost no one is talking about demons and how much murder they are responsible for:

And note how important is was that the victim was a college soccer player; otherwise NBC probably wouldn’t have considered her murder worth mentioning.

It’s shocking that both ABC News and CBS News fail to mention that the victim played soccer or list her position! And they don’t tell us that the school is in Division II!

It’s almost as if the “demons mader me do it” excuse and Mom helping cover up the murder weren’t enough to make the story newsworthy for NBC.

Well, after all, you never want to miss out on a chance to connect your story to current events, and the World Cup wasn’t that long ago…

Demons are everywhere these days. Too bad this mom didn’t consider exorcism.

Just call him “Ronald Donald”, because there’s no MC in him.

Hammer don’t hurt 'em.

I initially put this in the “Stupid Motherfuckers” thread under the assumption that Rula Jebreal was just a complete fucking idiot who doesn’t understand the racist implications of calling a black man a monkey. That was before I came across this old tweet of hers:

With the new evidence that’s come to light, I think we should strike Rula Jebreal from the list of stupid motherfuckers and add her to the list of evil motherfuckers instead.

Evidently it actually is too much to ask to stop killing children.

AGT contestant has no talent for babysitting.

Here’s why you don’t LARP a murder trial.

She insulted his manhood, so he killed her and her children.

Your first link had this useful bit of information that you didn’t quote, which makes the murder and child abuse charges somewhat more intelligible:

  • Surveillance footage of the incident allegedly showed the 4-year-old struggling in a pool for nine minutes before being pulled out unconscious

Huh? Kid wanders away unnoticed, gets into pool & trouble. Some minutes caregiver or other random adult notices kid in pool and retrieves them / their body.

How does passive cam footage of an unnoticed kid drowning add up to murder or abuse?

It sure is an example of short term child neglect. As is leaving a kid in a car that gets hot & kills them.

That stuff (pools & cars) happens all over the country every week. And lots of people object strenuously to criminal charges for honest, if tragic, mistakes.

Now, if the footage shows the miscreant sitting there poolside calmly watching the kid drown that’s a whole different situation. But I sure don’t get that meaning from that snip.

What am I missing?

Just that the guy let the kids walk to the pool by themselves and wasn’t there with them, as far as I can tell. Sounds like maybe they use a “murder” charge the way Texas does: just that they were responsible for the death. But I’m just guessing.

That’s pretty much what I was thinking; it’s still not a full picture of what went on, but without that bullet point, the account made no sense of any kind of charges at all, let alone the headline about “killing children.”

In Tennessee, the “killing of another committed in the perpetration of or attempt to perpetrate…aggravated child neglect” is considered 1st degree murder. Aggravated child neglect is neglect that “results in serious bodily injury to the child.”

YMMV on whether the following qualifies as child neglect:

Vinson also allowed the boy and his brother to walk approximately 0.2 miles to the apartment pool with no adult supervision.

Investigators also discovered that Vinson exchanged messages with the 4-year-old’s mother acknowledging the lack of supervision and his delayed response in the drowning
