Has multiple felony warrants and doesn’t hate the police? Possible, but not highly likely.
Now hate them enough to shoot at them, and simply think really poorly of the cops are two very different things.
Then again there are a few vids out there of guys saying “Dammit, I ain’t goin’ to jail again!” and proceeding to attack the cop who initiated the traffic stop. To results everywhere between cop dead and perp drives away unscathed to perp dead and cop drives away unscathed.

Somehow your pithy comment made me think of the awesome line from Blues Brothers where Elwood (Jake?) says “God, I hate Illinois Nazis!”.
But in my mental retelling it’s God saying “God, I hate Sovereign Citizens!” As He proceeds to creatively smite yet another one. Gleefully grinning all the way.

Stupidity is not a mental illness. I’m sure that there are mentally ill sov cits, possibly in a higher proportion than the general public; but having illogical and erroneous beliefs is not in itself a symptom of mental illness.
Blaming mental illness for having bad beliefs is a disservice to people with actual mental illness, and dismissive of the actual reasons why those beliefs persist. It’s willful ignorance and bigoted.
If this student’s story is true (and I have no reason to doubt it), then this teacher certainly qualifies as evil.
Today’s nominees: 1) the attendees at a Las Vegas conference for extremist sheriffs who aim to fight fantasy voter fraud (and the felons, buffoons and antivax loons who support them)

Or, you know, dying very quickly, because their cells were no longer able to perform any of their basic functions. mRNA isn’t something humans invented.
There are an unfortunate number of people, predominantly right-wing, who see the world as black and white. If the vaccine doesn’t always offer perfect protection to everyone, then it’s completely useless.

Well, this guy’s definitely gonna grow up to be a serial killer - he stole his grandpa’s pistol, broke into the home of a man he never met, and shot and killed him in his sleep.
Oh, and he was 7 years old at the time, so he can’t be charged with the murder because he was too young to be criminally culpable under state law.
