Now that it’s turned out that it’s a lie that Kyle Rittenhouse is going to attend Texas A&M, he now says he’s going to be attending a community college. The college says no, he isn’t.
Well, Blinn is an open enrollment community college so anybody who wants to take classes can do so. I know some folks who went there. It’s not bad. So they won’t stop him from attending but he kind of has to actually enroll first, which he apparently hasn’t done yet, if he ever will.
I think their most recent previous claim to fame was Cam Newton spent a year there playing JuCo after his academic troubles at Florida and before transferring to Auburn. Even won a NCAA Jr college football championship IIRC.
They have campuses in College Station and Bryan (pretty much adjacent to College Station) so no doubt Rittenhouse will try to hang out at A&M as much as possible and attempt to transfer in, which is very common for Blinn students. They collaborate so a lot of the credits transfer directly.
Ha! Kyle the murderer previously lied about going to Arizona State. He’s just a lying little piece of shit who killed people and then whined that the dead people ruined his last year of high school.

I’d been hoping – against experience – that he was just some dumb kid who’d gotten in over his head and after his near-brush with how actions bring consequences would keep his head down.
Apparently not.
In a way it reminds me of a comment a Rolling Stones writer had after Abbie Hoffman had his Chicago 7 conviction vacated and was stirring up shit in interviews: “Hey, Abbie? Want my advice? Shut up!”
