I’ve seen this video before and the guy in the blue shirt is suspicious. He ducks behind the car then out before the big explosion. 
I’ve seen other people suggest this. He was looking to see if the big pile of fireworks cleverly piled by the van was on fire (it was), presumably with the intent of possibly putting it out. Absolutely no reason to think he purposely blew up his (or his friend’s) minivan.
I’m willing to bet that this was chemical-induced stupidity.
