I think it has become common (at least in this town) for the fire crews to ride through new developments to familiarize themselves with the rapidly changing streets. When I first moved here, it was very common to hear the sirens keep going on the highway instead of turning off into the very new neighborhood.
Two are even better. 
That was part of what made me think that the letter writer had no idea of how 24/7 stations operate…perhaps he was thinking of volunteer operations where most of the crew has to drive to the station. Or maybe he was just being a huge jerk. Who gets mad at firefighters??

Under the narratives of the current pogrom, anything that even suggests that LGBT+ people are regular human beings is “grooming” and “perverted porn”, while anything suggesting that black people are regular human beings is “race baiting” and “white shaming”.
