Darrell Brooks is the guy who drove his car through a Christmas parade in Waukesha, Wisconsin and killed six people. His trial is ongoing, and he keeps pulling Sovereign Citizen crap, and is, indeed, representing himself. Because of Brooks’s disruptive behavior, the judge ruled that he has forfeited the right to call any further witnesses, and has ruled that the case should move forward to the closing arguments.
There was a subreddit called r/Justice4Darrell, where somebody who claimed to be a juror in the trial posted about how the judge is biased. The post was likely a hoax, but Twitter had taken down the subreddit, and the judge discussed it in court:
The right wingers, for some reason, think that AT&T is too liberal (even though they supported Individual 1), but they owned CNN (they don’t any more), so that’s enough for the right to try to find other carriers. They’ve decided on this carrier called PureTalk, which bills itself as hostile to big businesses. But it runs on AT&T lines, and pays AT&T for that access.
I dropped our ballots off yesterday morning about 7:30 at one of the sites in Mesa. I was kinda hoping The Watchers were there so I could point and laugh but alas, nobody was. It was really chilly that night so maybe they were hoping that would keep the mules at bay.
Someone I know who works at the Yavapai County office building in Prescott said that a watcher was there when she arrived, but was parked in the building’s shade so left and came back later with food and a hot drink then parked in the sun. Of course the watcher was being watched!
Okay, more like a sandbox with corn. Considering people die every year from sinking into grain bins, I was going to say this seemed a bit dangerous for kids.
