Once Disney bought the Fox rights to Star Wars and other projects, that included the publishing rights to Star Wars books etc. Since the purchase, Disney has stopped paying the authors their royalties. Disney claims they bought the rights to publish, not the duty to pay authors.
The SF Writers Associations begs to differ.
