So the Veterans’ Affairs representative suggested that they could euthanize her instead.

Hopefully the kid is okay. The shooter suffers from PTSD and this might have been a result of that.
What is stupid is that a little less than half of Georgia voters, most who would claim to be Christians, voted for a man who encouraged multiple abortions, stalked women, threatened women, beat women, fathered multiple children out of wedlock, abandoned ALL his children, lied about being a cop, lied about being FBI, lied about overseeing hospitals, lied about his education…over a Preacher.
Yeah, but the preacher is a…Democrat.

Germany arrested a group of crazies (including active duty military) who wanted to restore the Kaiser. They claimed to have support from Russia and American QAnons. Germany never gives out the full names of arrestees, but one of the names in the list of those mentioned appears to be that of an active judge.
In this case, the German press did because it’s about a person of public prominence. The name of the judge is Birgit Malsack-Winkemann, not surprisingly a former member of the Bundestag (the German parliament) from 2017-2021 for the AFD, the right-wing faction of the Bundestag. So she had inside information about the workings and interior of the Reichstag-building where the parliament sits and which was targeted to be taken over in a December 6 kind of coup. She also legally owned guns.

I generally think of New Zealand as a haven of relative sanity, so I don’t find this encouraging. It’s going to give Americans ideas and their ideas are stupid enough as it is.
I know it’s more complicated but it really seems like we’re exporting our insanity to other nations at this point.
