I think my info is newer than yours. And yeah. It sucks.
Welll…
I never got my college diploma. I didn’t go to the graduation ceremony (it was December in WI. My folks were the only ones that cared and they weren’t going to drive.) I think the school said I owed them some fee, so I blew off ever asking for the diploma.
BUT, I have my transcripts, which is the thing that really matters. And at the end it says “awarded BSME”.
(But yet, 36 years later, I still have dreams where I remember I haven’t gone to class all semester. At least, the other day when I had it, my dream mind said “hey, I have a job! I don’t think that class means anything!” Progress.)
And has gotten even worse.
How much is this going to cost THIS time. Geeze, Louise.
Anti-trans vlogger who went by the name Libs of Tik Tok was doxxed, and De Santis told her if the gays are coming after her, he has a refuge where she can stay, at the governor’s mansion…
She was lucky the first time to escape without paying costs. She doesn’t seem to realize that an appeal gives the judges another chance to turn the costs around on her. If the first suit was frivolous enough for a reprimand, the court of appeals might consider an appeal frivolous enough to make her pay for it. One can only hope. Or maybe the best outcome is that the court of appeals will refuse to hear the appeal, but will decide to charge her for all costs to date.
I sure do hope you are right. She needs to start paying for this out of her own pocket instead of mine.
I hope she gets hits with massive sanctions, then tries to appeal those. The longer she does this the stupider she looks and the fewer supporters she has. Eventually they’ll just slap a lien on her house and she can go back to living under a bridge.
Hey, people have to cross that bridge. Who wants to have to deal with the pile of thing living under there and harassing them every time?
And the name of thr bridge is GoFundMe.
Andrew Tate tried to come for Greta Thunberg on Twitter and she burned him to charcoal briquet.
‘Needledick, the Bugfucker’
(That’s from dad, but I don’t remember the context.)
I just saw this on the news this morning. And, of course, the idjits are blaming her for “body shaming” the guy trying to harass her online.
Body shaming is mocking or stigmatizing someone’s actual appearance. Are they conceding the accuracy of her insinuation about the dimensions of his genitalia?
I mean, I don’t think that penis size is something that anybody should be made fun of for, either. But clearly Thunberg is not making any claims about the actual size of Tate’s dick, so she’s not “body shaming” him.
[ETA: ninja’d by Riemann]
Of course she’s not body shaming him. The sole reason those idjits use the term is an effort, pathetic as it is, to prove Greta is a hypocrite.
I think what they’re trying to get their flaky flabby brains to articulate is that Thunberg’s retort is using penile smallness as a pejorative description, which is prejudiced and mean irrespective of the actual penile size of the target of the insult.
Which, fair enough, I wouldn’t mind if nobody ever used “tiny dick” or synonymous expressions as a jeer for any reason ever again. But, as noted, a 36-year-old violent misogynist asshole taunting a 19-year-old climate activist about how irresponsibly excessive his greenhouse gas emissions are doesn’t really have any room to whine about other people being prejudiced and mean.
I also think she was riffing off the obvious double entendre of “enormous emissions”. In an ideal world perhaps we’d all avoid the big dick / small dick trope, but it’s hard to resist the slapdown of this setup.
Maybe she was referencing that OT Scripture thing about the emissions of stallions.
Is Andrew Tate someone?
He thinks he is.
