The chain of events starting with Musk readmitting Tate to Twitter, and ending with Tate in a Romanian jail, should be the fucking Time Person of the Year.
I’m figuring you mean Tate and not Musk, but I personally’d vote for both.
I took the meaning to be that the entire chain of events should be personified and given the award.

This story (although I first read it here, GO SDMB!) is now plaguing my FB feeds from all sorts of original sources. And, whilst I’d normally grow bored after reading of it so many times, my smile just gets wider and wider with every add.

Nor me either @JackBatty, but from my reading today, it seems that he is hated by parents of teenage boys (especially) as he targets them with his uber-coolness and misogynistic ranting. Hopefully the twat will now venture UNDER the radar and with any luck, disappear into the Romanian prison system for many years to come.

Nothing. This was a completely unforced error on his part, all the way through.
Tate’s been released from custody. Hope they kept his passport. Beware the Matrix! 
One speculation that I have seen is that he heard that GRETA was after him, and he thought that it was the climate activist, Greta Thunberg, and not the anti-human trafficking organization GRETA.
I have no idea the veracity of this speculation, but it seem plausible given what an idiot this guy is.
