Also explained in that article is that sterling Republican candidate Pena spent 7 years in prison for a smash and grab at some big box store and that even though felons are barred from holding office in that state, a judge ruled that that is unconstitutional so he remained on the ballot. Go party of personal responsibility and high morals.
So now we literally have a wannabe member of the nutball caucus shooting at their political opponents. Where does this end? What’s the next escalation?

Republicans are completely fine having criminals on their side as long as they hate the right people.
I’m of the opinion that felons should be allowed to run for office (in certain cases and to a point) so I’m a little torn here.
They seem blissfully unaware that the wife and kids had the right to own guns, lived in a household with multiple guns, and it did jack shit to save them when crazy dad decided to use his own gun to kill them all.
They could also have saved themselves with solid core dead bolted bedroom doors.

I’m honestly curious as to who mentioned the LGBT stuff as I missed that completely I’m guessing. One thing I wouldnt assume is that they are more accepting of things that defy the norm that aren’t man central (women seem to have no right to be sexual unless its for men’s benefit). They haven’t quite caught up to the how gay people are viewed up here in Canuckistan , but id 50/50 depending on red/blue state, put them above america for acceptance. Even most blue states to be honest. America is full of prudes (till they think they’re alone…). I don’t see active legislation against them(Japan, just ignoring marriage). Whereas in america… bit more conflicted depending on location. Also education level…
