I found a bit of Indian Village footage (2:55 mark):
Much better than the nonsense inside the Golden Horseshoe, IMO. Which I only knew about thanks to the Disney Channel’s late night programming, before they replaced old “Wonderful World of Disney” and Mouseketeer stuff with repeats of their teen angst crap.

This book (and I imagine the sequels, but I have not read those) incorporates the characters from those stories:
Tristan Strong Punches a Hole in the Sky is a 2019 middle grade fantasy-adventure novel written by Kwame Mbalia. Published under the "Rick Riordan Presents" imprint, the novel is focused on African American folktales and West African mythology. The story follows teenager Tristan Strong, who is struggling with guilt after his best friend's death. Tristan accidentally creates a rift that transports him to Alke, a parallel world where myths are real, and must survive the evil forces that threaten Li...

This had me laughing so hard this morning. I showed it to my boss and I thought he was going to lose his mind with laughter. Stupid MotherFuckers indeed.
My jaw literally hung open. That is hard to watch.

Buy/download a copy.
I’m not familiar with them, but checking online, the first few I looked up were available in print via amazon or for free on Project Gutenberg.

I’ve got a copy. I highly doubt there a many people who would have the patience to read these. Harris wrote the stories phonetically in a rural African-American dialect which is not easy to read and understand.
Was that a dummy on the stretcher? If yes, kinda funny; if no, not funny at all.
Yes it was a dummy on the stretcher. I’d dare say they were all dummies. Except the horse.

Good thing that was just a mannequin.
That horse obviously does not like weight on its back. Someone screwed up their training.
That HAD to be rodeo clowns doing this as a joke during a break in the rodeo.
I didn’t realize it until now, but I think I actually watched a longer version than the one I posted. I don’t know if it was a joke. It’s Russia.
SailorHG:
Honestly this kind of annoys me too. All of the classic attractions having to be “updated” all the time. A few that I remember:
Swiss Family Robinson Treehouse → Tarzan Tree House
20000 Leagues under the sea → Nemo’s journey (or whatever)
The old autobahn → something “Cars” related
Bear Country → Winnie the Pooh
(probably more that I can’t think of right now)
I guess it’s the thought of getting old and seeing my childhood fading away piece by piece.
Ever since Disney bought the MCU, I’ve been waiting for the other shoe to drop and give us:
Swiss Family Robinson Treehouse → Tarzan Treehouse → I Am Groot .

It’s like the Village People, but more overtly homoerotic.
Wonder if the Desantis for President campaign would want to share that one?
I don’t recall seeing that, but I do remember getting corn chips from the cool Frito The Kid vending machine which must have been nearby:

what do you mean by “training”?
… that is a proper russian horse and is self-tought … not one of those woke western horses with training
You know the problem for Desantis here isn’t explaining the flags, but explaining the masks.
