I believe that in their preferred narrative, there is no such thing as transgenderism or gender dysphoria, and anyone who self-identifies as such is merely pretending, because they hate God and America, and they are constantly seeking opportunities to sexually defile everyone and everything righteous and good.
I wouldn’t worry too much about it; anyone who’s going to gatekeep being on the right side of this over your mastery of terminology isn’t worthy of your attention.

Back in the day, “tranny” was used as an abbreviation for transvestite, not transsexual. Transvestites were usually considered to be men dressing as women (see reasons below), so in fact they could still produce semen.
The right-wing Christian male hatred for transvestites has always (in my opinion) been based on their view that a man pretending to be a woman would be giving up the best thing on earth (malehood) in order to be taken as a woman (ew!). There could be no rational explanation for such behavior except a hatred of God and the established order of the universe, and a love of anarchy and Satan. If there were women dressing as men, well, of course they might try to grasp the golden apple of man-ness because aspiration to better yourself is understandable, even though they lack the golden grapes to do so. So they are not worthy, or at least not as worthy of hatred as “the real thing.”
Of course, if a transvestite did put their semen in the frosted lemonade it would have no effect on anything but the flavor and nutritional value. But the person who thinks about such activities probably also thinks that it would turn any consumer into another transvestite. Sort of like a vampire drinking your blood, only in reverse.
Well, also, they were motivated by the fear that they could be tricked into putting their hand up their date’s dress and finding man stuff instead of girl stuff.
