Well, maybe, but I’d be worried about toxins.
He’s pretty toxic all right, but not in the biochemistry way.
There’s fat and then there’s fat.
Donald is marbled like…well Donald, not like Kobe beef where the cow’s been well fed and exercised every day
Flare-ups. Not a good thing when you’re trying to do low-n-slow.
Maybe he’d make okay bacon?
Some long pig?
Though based on reports from certain porn stars, ‘long’ is not the word to use to describe him
I prefer my pork not gamy and tasting like chemicals.
Also I don’t like mushrooms.
I think you would want to purge him first, though.
STATION!
(added for posting: fuck you Discourse)
How about a nice Vienna sausage?
Vienna sausages originated in Vienna; or as the Germans call it, Wien. Thus Vienna sausages are Wiener Wurst, which is where we get the word ‘wiener’ (not weiner!).
Just something to chew on whilst you’re discussing mushrooms and Vienna sausages.
In 2018, White invested $174,000 in the coins, according to a lawsuit by the New York attorney general - only to later learn that Lear charged a 33 percent commission.
Over several transactions, White, 70, lost nearly $80,000…
Maybe calling people who fall for these scams ‘stupid motherhumpers’ is a bit harsh. People fall for scams every day. Still when it happens to Fox viewers…
People that prey on the elderly, need special treatment.
Our economy uses the predatory model overall. “Consumer” is a euphemism for “mark”. If we reigned in the stupid in US, the GDP would almost certainly shrink by at least a third, probably more. Computers are a tremendously valuable business tool, because they reduce the mental load that the people have to bear, so that gives them more time to focus on shopping.
I find that disturbingly plausible…
Sometimes, I think it should be legal to separate the stupid from their money.
Being old is, in and of itself, no defense.
I was listening to the Behind the Bastards podcast on kidnapping paranoia and they were talking about how scamming is a massive widespread problem that is rarely addressed because victims are too ashamed to admit they were scammed. The primary target being elderly people. The host Robert Evans suggests that maybe, just maybe, the reason all this kidnapping human trafficking pedophile ring conspiracy crap is so prevalent is that these people live in a world where people (scammers) actually are constantly trying to harm them. Thus their general mistrust of other people is at least somewhat grounded in reality.
I dunno what I think of this take, but it’s interesting.
I don’t know what I think of that theory either, but I can tell you at least part of the belief in weird shit as far as elderly people is concerned is isolation and early- to mid-stage dementia. I saw my mother become very suspicious of people for no reason other than dementia.
That said, there were scammers that tried to take advantage of my father, who I went after pretty hard when I found out what was happening. Interestingly enough, every single one of those businesses was based in Florida. Hm.
On the one hand, I do see your point. Stupid people with money can be a serious concern. Consider that paypal moron who bought a large social network and turned it into more of a sewer than it already was: that there is a prominent example of a stupid person who desperately need to be separated from all of his money.
In fact, my observations seem to indicate that money, just like guns and cars, makes people who have it stupid (that is, it damages their ability to reason). Thus, yes, taking capital away from stupid people (including those who are stupid by dint of haring too much) is probably a net gain for everyone.
On the other hand, we all have our weak spots and are at least a little stupid in some areas. Morons are not per se valueless people (some are, many are not) and deserve a right to try for a decent life. If you do decide to go and separate stupid people from that money (be my guest), at least give them some fair exchange for it, rather than merely relieving them of it thievishly.
There is human trafficking, isn’t there?
