He was just trying to gain access to Blofeld’s geothermal lair
“Now, 007, the previous agent in your post managed to retire but still did not come to a pleasant end…”
“I have heard, he was rather steamed about it.”
That should earn him a bundle of Fs.
During a court hearing to decide Brown’s bond, his defense attorney told Judge Maryam Ahmad that the teen committed the crime because he was hungry and needed to eat before class. However, this excuse didn’t work on the judge, who jokes that she was once a hungry student but had never resorted to violence in order to finance a snack, CWB Chicago reported. As such, Brown’s request for bail was denied.
I was going to say the same thing, but not as a joke. I remember being extremely poor and hungry and actually going for a day or two without eating. Never was I tempted to steal, even without violence. This wasn’t hunger, this was greed.
With more than 56 days of pretrial detention as a legally still-innocent person it’s a pretty good bet his non-attendance alone earned him a set of Fs.
But yeah, the economics alone of an unplanned street robbery are pretty poor on a cost/benefit basis. Which suggests plenty of economic ignorance on display.
You think he’d know better after filming Dante’s Peak.
Well, that’s why he needs an education.
I think anyone involved with the film or who watched it was left dumber for the experience.
The protagonist survived an eruption for gosh sakes. What’s a mere walking off the marked trail gonna do to him now?
Which raises an interesting / funny side question:
For actors who often play impossibly heroic tough guys/gals, does some of that seep into their real life, rendering them swaggering goofs prone to unwitting risky behavior from a misplaced sense of invincibility?
nevermind
'Member her?
She refused to just bite her tongue and sign the certificate so now she has to pony up, what I assume is going to be, a life-altering amount of money. Also, she lost her re-election.
I mean, probably not really in this case, but maybe.

Yay! Fuck Kim Davis.
No thanks. Now please pass the brain bleach.
More than a third of US adults say Biden’s 2020 victory was not legitimate
More than a third of US adults believe Joe Biden was not legitimately elected president in 2020, according to a new poll.
According to the Washington Post and the University of Maryland, 62% of American adults say they believe Biden’s win was legitimate – down from 69% in the same poll in December 2021.
Thirty-six per cent say they do not accept Biden’s win.
Let’s be clear. If you’re part of that 36%, then you are a stupid MFer.
Let me tell you about a fellow named Mark Wahlberg…
My conservative boss has disallowed our conversations about trump since trump was charged by the DOJ. He did tell me the other day that he has no doubt that if trump is reelected, he will end the war in both Ukraine and in Israel on day one.
It’s obnoxious and nauseating how much some people worship this man who could not be more unworthy.
Your boss is NOT conservative. He’s radical, probably reactionary, and possibly hates America as much as the America-hating fuckstick.
Keep your head down and keep drawing that paycheck.
Here’s that survey question, along with some follow up questions. It would appear that a third of the people thinking any given election wasn’t legitimately won is pretty normal.
The Barack Obama is the only one which can be considered normal as Obama won both the electoral and popular vote–and his is considered legitimate by 85%.
For both Bush and Trump, they won the electoral vote but lost the popular vote–that is why they are not considered by many to be legitimately elected.
But Biden won both the electoral and popular vote.
