The miss distance to his house is the thing that would have my attention. The only thing worse than awakening to see a ship parked in your garden is awakening to the sensation of a ship entering your bed.
Not sure where to put this. It’s not really stupid and not really evil, but, IMO, it is wrong.
The Valedictorian at Bishop Carroll High School in Wichita had his status as valedictorian removed after he delivered a graduation speech that had not been approved by school officials. His initial speech was rejected, then a revision was approved. However, he decided to give his own speech, which was well-received by his fellow grads and the audience. The school, however, took a dim view of his message.

That’s not a huge container ship, as the big ships go, it’s smaller than most. In fact, it’s downright tiny. It’s an itty bitty little container ship, I want to pinch it’s little cheeks!
So they want to takee away his validictorian-ness? If I were him, I’d say, keep it. It doesn’t count for anything that day after graduation. Your transcripts, that matters.

Ann Nguyen Tran said the school’s decision to withhold his diploma and transcript until the medal is returned was made without conferring with the family, who left on an out-of-country trip shortly after the graduation ceremony. She added that the school said it was also revoking his distinction as valedictorian, including on his transcripts.
