The commuter rail lines north of Boston have a lot of at-grade crossings but in several areas the tracks are elevated on an embankment or viaduct which bridges the level crossing for the cars below. On one line in my former home town, the embankment bridge is high enough at one spot for the road below to be level, but the embankment gradually diminishes in height for an upcoming at-grade crossing. There’s another street crossing midway in that stretch where there’s a below-grade underpass running under the embankment bridge, so both solutions in one package.
I wouldn’t get in that river even if they were throwing lit M-80s into it.
Still, can you imagine one of those ‘live game’ food shows featuring ‘native and sustainable’ Candiru appetizers?

Without trying to look it up, I think you’re right. “Harold” didn’t quite ring true for me either.
