Pretty sure hajaar is someone who got access to an old account from the hack to promote their website. Too suspicious they would post in the thread after lurking so long, then reply twice, and also not know the rules of the board about spamming.

Why they allow such clear bad faith
Not a troll, but certainly someone “strongly wedded to his worldview”. And, ironically, someone who tends to take losing an argument very poorly himself.
He’s back from his flounce and still very concerned about the behavior of random people he assesses to be liberal. I’m sure he’ll now be very concerned about the civility of those who point out when he drops these turds.

I think a lot of his posts are at least related to the concept of concern trolling. He acts as if he’s above it all but goes around clicking his tongue whenever anyone on one particular side says just about anything.
I mean, he started at least four ATMB threads asking that the mods stop people from saying things about Trump that he found to be very wrong and uncivil, but don’t you dare suggest that it has anything to do with his feelings about Donald Trump. He even referenced this very sincere concern of his in his flounce thread.
I didn’t mean to imply the thread title made your post inappropriate or you stupid or anything. I merely sought to explain why I drew the inference I did, which I still find perfectly reasonable. In the future I’ll know not assume there is any deliberation or intent behind your posts.

It is a continuous thing here for many of you to label simply the posters you don’t like for their politics as Trolls. Quartz is an asshole, but he is not a troll by a definition that is useful to mean something in any way different from “someone I do not like and disagrees with me politically above all.”
The faking of positions or the dishonesty should be the substantial criteria.
Look at JBGUSA - here is a troll for he pretends and very ostentatiously to be someone of the Left in the USA making claims of being a “very liberal democrat” or someone of the LEft (as ‘full disclosure’) … but this is a badly fitting mask. I can not recall any person on the American left ever so consistently hating Left oriented US presidents (he is negative in your presidents FDR and JFK both, although at different times).
I remember reading here some time ago someone had found his postings at some hard right board, he is clearly engaged in what he thinks is a clever effort to convince Left audiences of his positions by pretending to be one of them…
it is a dishonest pretending and clearly a form of the trolling.
