The venerable old watchwolf49 has hit new depths of idiocy in this thread , yet another one on climate change. Kudos to all involved in refuting the nonsense, of course, but especially to Stranger on a Train for this priceless takedown .
The point of this notice is that I’m now fully convinced that watchwolf49 is just playing; in less polite society we call that “trolling”. It’s not just that no one could be so consistently and persistently stupid and wrong about everything, it’s the way he keeps cheerfully coming back after having all his arguments eviscerated. No sane person would do that. The only kind of person who would do that is the kind who, if he worked at the humane society, would go along the cages and poke all the animals with a stick, and then sit back and watch them react.

Does he regularly have those fits? I thought he (or maybe she, sorry, I’m not quite certain) had just an obsession with ellipses with the occasional bout of gibberish and incomprehensibility, but that is A grade wacko stuff.

He just premised his argument on the idea that science has no inherent view of “good” or “bad”.
I knew he was wrong about Climate Change; I didn’t think he was getting paid to be wrong about climate change before now.
