I know this is extremely flimsy evidence (that’s why I’m posting here but not reporting it), but I did want to note something, and see if the mods might want to do a quick check.
It’s the last two sentences, especially the last one. One thing I’ve noticed around the web is that Russian trolls often make this punctuation mistake, putting spaces before ending punctuation marks. And the guy seems to be pushing the same pro-Trump narrative that is often used by Russian trolls.
Anyone see any other signs that Tempe Jeff is not on the up and up? Sometimes it’s the little things that clue you in to check for more.
Nothing is leaping out at me, other than the weird punctuation (it shows up in other posts).
It could be that a bot cracked his account and drops one of these turds now and then, because, although he seems to be a turd-dropping asshole, he mostly seems to be a genuine asshole. I could imagine a well designed bot set up to log in to the account (when it sees the user is offline), make a splat and then unsubscribe to the thread – the real poster might never catch on.
